Does anyone else feel like a “filler friend”? Like you just sit there, never contributing to the conversation, and when you do, no one notices. You don’t really have a purpose or do anything and kinda just sit there existing. No one ever invites you ever or asks to do anything with you, and people even make group plans right in front of you and neglect your presence. It’s not that anyone means for this to happen it kinda just does?

Let’s talk about how good “Sworn to the Sword” was a highlighting unhealthy idolism in relationships. How hearing Pearl tell Connie that she was nothing while serving Steven, insinuating that Pearl was also nothing while serving Rose, and how that made him instantly uncomfortable? This was so great. People sometime put the one they care about on a pedestal and put themselves down in order to raise the one they love up higher and you don’t need to do that.

Relationships are about teamwork and cooperation and Steven Universe and the Crew is gonna teach that to kids if it kills them. I love it.
