however, if you don’t vote, this is the future that’s in store for you.

Jeeze, no wonder I never meet anyone online that lives in new zealand.

This one’s current, and I’ll be damned if it doesn’t scare the shit out of me if I’m honest!

Alright, one more time guys, check it out and give it one last good push!

Decided to go back and rework my headcanon alien Zer0 a bit. Gave them some more muddied markings and decided to toss in scarring because hey it’s Pandora. (bottom zoom-ins are at probably 25%)

Two notes on the design:

- Mouth doesn’t need to move to talk, so helmet space isn’t a problem. They only really need the mouth for eating.

- The first red slot on either the side of the head is the ear, rest are for additional air intake.

Imagine paying $40 extra a month for Tumblr

That’s what is going to happen if we let Ajit Pai, the FCC chairman, go through with repealing Title II (AKA Net Neutrality).

Simply put, without Net Neutrality, Internet Service Providers like Comcast, Verizon, and AT&T will be able to “bundle” websites much like cable ON TOP OF paying for internet connection. “Want access to Netflix AND Tumblr? Get the Entertainment Package! $40 a month. What about Amazon and Ebay? Add an extra $20 a month to get the Shopping Package.”

Not only will they be able to bundle websites and charge more, they will also be able to censor and block websites that they don’t agree with entirely.

THIS WILL BE THE END OF INTERNET AS WE KNOW IT.

For business owners, it will be even worse. Ex: Comcast will ask Amazon to pay high fees to be available in a low-cost package, fees that websites like Poshmark or Etsy will not be able to pay. Therefore, only Fortune 500’s will be available to web users at a low cost. Say goodbye to Etsy (unless you’re willing to shell out $70 a month for the “All-Inclusive” package).

To learn about Net Neutrality, why it’s important, and/or want tools to help you fight for Net Neutrality, visit BattleForTheNet (https://www.battleforthenet.com)

There are five people deciding the future of the internet, three men (Rep) and two women (Dem). The two women have come out as No votes. We need only to convince ONE of the other members to flip to a NO vote to save Net Neutrality.

There are many ways you can help:

WHAT TO DO IF YOU’RE A LAZY TUMBLR USER WITH ANXIETY WHO TRIES TO HELP WITH JUST REBLOGS / LIKES:

Most importantly, VOTE. This should not be something that is so clearly split between the political parties as it affects all Americans, but unfortunately it is.

There’s a link on here for us international ppl to support!

If you’re not scared right now about losing net neutrality; You should be. Study up folks, or 2018 is going to fucking suck.

This isn’t my type of post but Net Neutrality is so important.

Forget your page’s aesthetic, share this with everyone you know. Without Net Neutrality, the internet itself would change.

Companies would be able to charge websites if they want them to load faster than others on your computer. This means that they would purposefully bottleneck speeds on every website that doesn’t have the funding to pay for it faster speed. There’s NO reason for this. Are you a small business with a website and can’t afford to pay enough to get faster speeds? Too bad. Are you someone with a personal blog? Slow page loading. Do you want to view a website written by a nonprofit organization for your school project? You’ll have to wait until the page loads because, since they’re nonprofit, they can’t afford to pay enough to cable companies so that their page loads faster.

An alternative to this would be having to pay for faster internet. Internet service should be priced by usage, not speed. For home internet, unlimited use isn’t all that expensive so it’s really common. You wouldn’t want to pay extra for more speed.

This would possibly affect the way that the internet works on other devices such as your phone, gaming system, laptop, tablet, etc.

We NEED Net Neutrality.

If a company doesn’t agree with a specific website, they could purposefully limit traffic to their site. This would be censorship, something that nobody likes.

There are many other reason as to why you should protect Net Neutrality.

This is an issue whether you’re a Republican, Democrat, Left-wing, Right-wing, young, old, male, female, rich, poor, etc.

EVERYONE SHOULD ADVOCATE FOR NET NEUTRALITY.

^

Guys, also think about he wider costs. Every business, school, hospital, pharmacy, first responder, government service—every single one uses the Internet. So, yes, the individual user will pay more for access, but so will the institutional users. The thing is, the institutional users aren’t just going to eat the increase in costs. They will pass them on to the consumer. They always do.

Education, healthcare, every single product and service, plus your local, state, and Federal taxes, will all GO UP.

Losing net neutrality will affect the cost of every single product and service offered in this country. Every. Single. One.

PLEASE people. This isn’t something to just scroll past!! Everyone on this fucking website is going to suffer if we lose net neutrality and SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE TO STOP WHAT IS HAPPENING. I’m not the first to bring this to light, but please, PLEASE, text RESIST to 50409 and you can converse with a bot that will help you write a letter to a congressman or other official who can help stop this. EVERY VOICE NEEDS TO BE HEARD BECAUSE IF THIS GETS TAKEN AWAY FROM US THEN OUR VOICES WILL BE PERMANENTLY SILENCED. I️ urge everyone to speak up about this, you’ll really fucking regret i️t if we lose net neutrality.

This could be your last chance to stop ISPs from messing up your Internet!

https://www.battleforthenet.com

WE HAVE ONE WEEK LEFT TO FIGHT THIS PLEASE HURRY! This is the URL to enter your phone number to call Congress and ask them to repeal. We NEED to fight this people!

https://www.battleforthenet.com/

I can’t tell if this is real or just a very surreal meme.

Unfortunately this is real.

It’s been moved to Dec 22. We now have more than a month to continue fighting. I’ve already gotten in contact with my reps and unfortunately only one of them gives a damn. I have informed the others I will considering their replacements when the time roles around. For those who think that does nothing, thats what they what you to think. Telling your reps that you will not vote for them in the coming elections DOES scare them. Call your reps and tell them.

PLEASE DO THIS! THIS IS OUR ONLY CHANCE TO STOP THEM!

I know for a fact I’d freeze up on the phone and I don’t see an option for signing my name for support, so I’ll give this a reblog for any of my followers who can handle this sort of call.
