Imagine a tiny who lives in an old house that’s been vacant for years, they’re a very shy and timid person and the idea of humans is quite frightening to them- humans are so huge and loud to the poor little tiny!
But one day someone moves in and the tiny’s world turns upside down…
A rather quiet and melancholic human moves in alone, at first the tiny is petrified and spends their days hiding away inside walls to avoid what seems to them like a terrifying giant- but eventually they start to peek out to watch the human.
They quickly find this human seems ever so down and sad, always sitting alone and never really going out- they don’t even seem to enjoy watching TV or anything! The human is just downright unhappy.
Then one day as the tiny makes a brave move to watch the human closer (sneaking out from the floorboards and tiptoeing across the carpet to the humans bedroom)
They find the human lying in bed, crying to themselves!
The tiny feels so bad for the human, they seem so lonely and sad and it breaks the tiny’s itty bitty heart to see someone in such distress.
So they pluck up the courage to grab hold of the bed sheets and make the hike up to the top of the bed, standing in front of the human who’s face is buried in the tear-soaked pillow.
The tiny let’s out a polite cough to grab the humans attention, trying their best not to run away when the humans gigantic face turns to look at them….shakily, fearfully they begin to speak, fearing their shy voice may be too quiet to hear.
“H-hello, please don’t be sad. Y-you’re not so alone, I’m here.”
Carefully the tiny reaches out and wipes a tear from the humans cheek, sitting next to them with wobbly legs as they try to control their fear- the human stays perfectly still and just watches the tiny as their tears dry up.
“Will you stay with me? Please?” The human asks, but it sounds more like a plea.
“Of course.” The tiny replies as they gently stroke the bridge of the humans nose “I’ll always be h-here if you need me.”
