In regards to the post about your size-shift suit: What if the suit itself is of high technology where it can be able to adjust size due to how much you can condense or shrink your lava bits inside of it? When you feel like going back to your normal size, your lava core produces more lava and your suit has to adjust to it. If your lava-ness is consistent in size, then I don't know, but I hope this may have helped.
