Draw what makes you happy.

If you can, stop caring what everyone else thinks about it. There will always be those who draw their own conclusions regardless of what you say. Some minds cannot be changed. I understand it’s difficult to ‘stop caring’ when something like this is troubling you, but you owe it to yourself to try. 

This particular artist, does not give a fuck if you want to draw pink elephants, bazillion year old dragons or just fanart of your favorite thing. If it’s not hurtin’ anybody and it makes you feel good, then I’m glad you get to do it.

It isn’t dumb or childish. It’s great.
