Some asks start up and have 50 followers within the first few weeks…

Some are flooded with asks…

Some of their characters are loved and envied by all…

Some have amazing art skills…

Some have many characters and friends…

Some know how to roleplay better than anyone else…

Some imagine things that would never cross your mind…

And still some keep their ask going for months, years even…

The point is… No matter if you’re a good artist, a bad artist, an amazing storyteller or a horrid one, have tons of follows or three, are flooded with asks or never get any…

If what you do makes you happy, and drawing your characters is what you want, then do it…

But if what you do does not make you happy, and you only want to fulfill others wishes…

Don’t waste your time on them.

Pick up your pencil, or tablet pen, or piece of chalk and draw.

Create a character.

Or don’t. Fanart is still art.

Be you.

And don’t let anyone’s opinions, or number of followers, or likes, or how many asks they have, bring you down.

There is no such thing as a bad idea in storytelling and character creation.

There is only you and the infinity that is your mind.
