For some reason my brain has me stuck on this scenario with Oberon and Aly…were Oberon has gone too long without sating his blood lust, so he starts looking at Aly differently. Eventually unable to control himself, he jumps her and is just about to chomp down on her shoulder when he snaps out of it. But not wanting to startle her any more than he probably already has by telling her whats going on, he turns it into a gentle and teasing nibble before letting her go and reassuring her.
