I prefer nonfatal too (digestion is a MASSIVE turn off, for me anyway). I like the idea of getting churned up by a stomach, but in a “it’s a natural movement the stomach makes” kind of way. I’m not keen in acids or anything, or anything dealing with exiting through the back (though I’m all about endosoma and I’m cool with exploring the digestive system beyond the stomach, but only as far as the small intestine really). For me, vore is kind of a “WOAH I’M LITERALLY SURROUNDED BY SOMEONE AAAA THIS IS SO COOL” kind of thing. The stomach just happens to be my favorite hangout.
Of course this is only personal preference. I can at least understand the appeal of digestion. I see a lot of people saying that it’s basically like you’re giving up yourself to become part of something biggest, and I can see a certain poetry in that. Circle of life, and all that jazz.
I’m definitely fearplay trash but like… the giant doesn’t have to be malicious for me to enjoy it; the tiny just has to be scared of them. I get so many fluffy feelings when a gentle giant is trying to soothe a cornered tiny, telling them “I won’t hurt you…” with big kind eyes while the tiny is just crying and stuttering with fear looking up at this massive creature…
