Why are sharks so beautiful?
@marissareiHUGGERS… meet the Shy Shark! THIS IS A THING! THIS IS REALLY A THING….!
450 millions years of evolution and ‘if i can’t see it, it can’t hurt me’ is the best they could come up with! WAY too adorable!
You know, there are so many other jawsome sharks out there - shark week shouldn’t just focus on the white shark. I love a good breach as much as the next shark lover, but these guys are too cute! <3
little shy sharks.

SEA PUPPERSave him, he’s scared
The Frilled shark (Chlamydoselachus anguineus) is one of two extant species of shark in the family Chlamydoselachidae, with a wide but patchy distribution in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Behind its grin is a mouth like nothing researches have ever seen: Row after row of razor sharp, hooked teeth; twenty-five rows; over three-hundred teeth. It’s possible that some of the myths and legends of sea serpents came from the Frilled shark.

The Goblin shark extends its jaw way out in front of its body, then snaps it back to catch food. The jaw is suspended by ligaments, and not connected to the skull.
